About WEAN Multipurpose Co-op

WEAN Multipurpose Co-op is a women-led multipurpose cooperative based in Lalitpur, Nepal, working mainly to support women entrepreneurs and community members through financial and non-financial services. It focuses on empowering women by helping them develop income-generating activities, improve business skills, and access markets for their products. The cooperative also provides services such as savings and credit facilities, microfinance support, business development guidance, and skill development training. In addition to financial services, it plays an active role in marketing products made by its members, including handicrafts and agro-based food items, both locally and internationally.
