About Susma koirala Nursing Campus

Sushma Koirala Memorial Nursing Campus is a well-known nursing education institution located in Sankhu, Shankharapur Municipality, Kathmandu, Nepal. It was established in 2057 B.S. (around 2000 AD) under the Sushma Koirala Memorial Trust (SKMT) and is focused on producing professional healthcare workers, especially nurses. The campus is affiliated with CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training) for its PCL Nursing (Staff Nurse) program and also offers B.Sc. Nursing under Purbanchal University. One of its major strengths is its practical training system. The campus operates its own hospital, the Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital (SKMH), which is used for clinical practice and hands-on training for students. This helps nursing students gain real-world experience while studying.
