About Smart Club

Smart Club is a youth-led initiative based in Kathmandu, Nepal, focused on building leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills among young people. It operates as a public speaking and discussion platform, where members regularly participate in structured sessions involving speeches, debates, and feedback-based learning. The club is designed to help students and young professionals improve confidence, articulation, and awareness of social, political, and economic issues through active participation rather than traditional classroom learning. Smart Club also runs weekly interactive programs where participants take on different roles such as speaker, evaluator, timekeeper, and analyst, creating a system that emphasizes practical communication training and peer feedback. It has been active for many years in Kathmandu and has conducted hundreds of sessions, often hosted in venues like colleges (including King’s College).
