About Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya - Bhaktapur

Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Bhaktapur is a well-known Nepal Army–run educational institution located in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur, Nepal. It operates under the Nepal Army Welfare Fund and follows the guiding motto “Gyanena Paramo Sewa”, meaning “Imparting knowledge is the greatest service.” The institution has a long history, originally established in 1978 AD (2035 B.S.) in Bhimphedi, Makawanpur as Suping Multiple Campus, in collaboration with Tribhuvan University and the Nepal Army. It was later relocated to Bhaktapur in the early 2040s B.S. and developed into its current form as Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya. Academically, it offers a full range of programs from school level (Grade 6–10) up to +2 level (Science, Management, and Humanities) under the National Examination Board (NEB). At the bachelor’s level, it also runs programs such as BBA and B.Sc. Microbiology under Tribhuvan University.
