About Rotary Club of Kathmandu

Rotary Club of Kathmandu is the first and one of the most prominent Rotary clubs in Nepal, established in 1959 as part of the global Rotary International network. Based in Thapathali, Kathmandu, the club is dedicated to humanitarian service, community development, and social welfare initiatives across the country. The club engages in a wide range of service projects, including healthcare camps, disease prevention programs, educational support, disaster relief, infrastructure development, and community empowerment activities. Over the decades, it has contributed to several landmark initiatives in Nepal’s health and social sectors, working in collaboration with government bodies, NGOs, and international partners.
