About RN Joshi Museum / Park Gallery

RN Joshi Museum / Park Gallery is an artist-run gallery and cultural space located in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. It was founded by the Nepali artist and art educator Rama Nanda Joshi in 1970 as one of the first modern art galleries in Nepal, playing an important role in introducing and promoting contemporary art in the country. Over the years, it has functioned not just as an exhibition space but also as a learning center where many well-known Nepali artists trained and developed their skills. The gallery regularly hosts exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, and photography by both Nepali and international artists, helping to support and grow the modern art scene in Nepal.
