About Radio Namobuddha

Radio Namobuddha is a community FM radio station (106.7 MHz) based in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok, Nepal. It is operated by the non-profit organization Jugal Association Nepal (JAN) and is known as one of the earliest community radios in the Kavre district. The station broadcasts programs focused on local news, education, health, agriculture, environment, social awareness, and community development, aiming to give a voice to local people and promote inclusive information sharing. Radio Namobuddha typically airs programs for around 12–13 hours daily, using FM transmission to reach Kavre and surrounding districts such as Sindhupalchok, Dolakha, Sindhuli, and even parts of the Kathmandu Valley.
