About Nepal Applied Mathematics and Informatics Institute for research

Nepal Applied Mathematics and Informatics Institute for Research (NAAMII) is a non-profit, independent research institute based in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, focused on advancing artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, and informatics. It was founded by Nepali researchers with the goal of building a strong scientific research ecosystem in Nepal that can contribute to global AI development while also solving locally important problems. NAAMII works across multiple areas including machine learning, computer vision, medical AI, natural language processing, computational biology, and data-driven solutions for healthcare, climate, and other social challenges.
