About Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail

The Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail is a 12-kilometer loop that offers some of the most accessible Himalayan views near Kathmandu. The trail takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours to complete at a moderate pace and reaches a maximum altitude of 1900 meters. The hike combines three distinct sections: a peaceful nature walk through dense pine forest, a village walk past terraced farmlands and local homes, and a ridgeline panorama with sweeping mountain vistas. On clear mornings, hikers can spot Himalayan peaks including Everest, Manaslu, Ganesh, and Langtang.
