About Mahabuddha Art Gallery

Mahabuddha Art Gallery is a traditional art and handicraft gallery in the Lalitpur (Patan) area of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, closely associated with the historic Mahabuddha Temple region, which is well known for its centuries-old Newari metal and sculpture-making tradition. The gallery mainly focuses on handcrafted Buddhist art, especially metal statues, copper and bronze sculptures, and religious artifacts. These artworks often include representations of Buddha, Bodhisattvas, and other Himalayan spiritual figures, created using traditional Newar craftsmanship techniques passed down through generations.
