About Langtang National Park

Langtang National Park is one of Nepal’s most beautiful Himalayan protected areas, located in the northern region of the country across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchok districts. Established in 1976, the park covers an area of about 1,710 sq. km and is famous for its breathtaking mountain landscapes, glaciers, forests, diverse wildlife, and rich Tamang culture. Visitors can enjoy trekking routes such as Langtang Valley, Gosainkunda, and Helambu while experiencing stunning views of Himalayan peaks, alpine forests, and traditional mountain villages.
