About Khwopa Engineering College(Block A)

Khwopa Engineering College (Block A) is part of Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC), a well-known community-based engineering institution located in Libali, Bhaktapur, Nepal. It is operated under Bhaktapur Municipality and is recognized as Nepal’s first community-based engineering college, established in 2001 AD with the goal of providing affordable, quality engineering education to students from all backgrounds. Block A refers to one of the main academic buildings within the Khwopa Engineering College campus. It is typically used for regular classes, departmental activities, administrative work, and examinations for various engineering programs. The college offers undergraduate programs such as Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture, and Electronics & Communication Engineering, along with postgraduate programs like Earthquake Engineering and Urban Design & Conservation.
