About Kathmandu Metropolitan City Center for Urban Health Promotion

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Center for Urban Health Promotion is a public health facility operated under the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) as part of its Urban Health Promotion Center network. It is located in Kathmandu (near the central city area) and provides basic primary healthcare and community health services. The center focuses on preventive and primary healthcare services such as general outpatient consultations, maternal and child health services, basic treatment for common illnesses, health education, and referral services to higher hospitals when needed. Like other KMC urban health promotion centers, it also supports public health programs such as vaccination awareness, disease prevention campaigns, and community-level health screening.
