About Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology

Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology is a private college in Mid Baneshwor, Kathmandu, established in 2000 AD and affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). The college is known for offering undergraduate programs that combine management and information technology, mainly including BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), BIM (Bachelor of Information Management), and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). It is recognized for being one of the early institutions in Nepal to introduce the BIM program, which blends business studies with IT skills. KCMIT focuses on producing graduates with both technical and managerial knowledge, and provides facilities such as computer labs, library access, and academic support for TU-based curricula. Students generally study under TU’s semester system with entrance requirements like the CMAT exam for management programs.
