About General Post Office

General Post Office (GPO)—locally known as Gośwara Hulaak Karyalaya—is the main postal headquarters of Nepal’s postal system. It is located in Dillibazar, Kathmandu and operates under the Department of Postal Service, Government of Nepal. It serves as the central hub for managing and coordinating postal services across the country, including mail delivery, parcel handling, registered letters, EMS (Express Mail Service), and international postal exchanges. The office also provides services such as PO boxes, tracking systems, and postal ticketing.
