About First Microfinance Laghubitta

First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. is a national-level wholesale microfinance financial institution based in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as a ‘D’ class financial institution and began operations in 2010 (2066 BS). The institution mainly provides wholesale microcredit services, meaning it does not usually lend directly to individual borrowers. Instead, it provides funds and financial support to retail microfinance institutions and cooperatives, which then distribute small loans to low-income and rural households.
