About College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Sciences

College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Sciences (CBEAS) is a Purbanchal University–affiliated engineering college in Kathmandu, Nepal, established in 2005 with a focus on biomedical engineering education. The college is dedicated to integrating engineering principles with medical and biological sciences to prepare students for careers in healthcare technology, medical device development, and clinical engineering. It offers a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering program, which covers subjects such as electronics, mechanics, computer systems, physiology, medical instrumentation, and healthcare technology. The curriculum is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory experience, enabling students to work with diagnostic and therapeutic equipment like MRI, CT scanners, and ECG systems.
