Chiya Katha is a local tea café (chiya pasal) located in the Hattiban area of Lalitpur, Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is known as a cozy neighborhood spot where people gather to enjoy Nepali-style tea (masala chiya, milk tea, black tea) along with light snacks such as momo, noodles, eggs, and simple fast food items. The café is designed as a casual hangout place, especially popular among students and young people for relaxed conversations (“guff”), small meetups, and evening tea sessions.
